Fully rebuilt five-speed 914 transmission ($2,100+). Borla racing muffler, exhaust ($950). High-flow K&N cone filter conversion and a heavy-duty sport clutch. Drilled, slotted brake rotors, steel braided brake lines; new master cylinder. 1989 body modification kit: fiberglass front and rear bumpers, rocker panels, front lip spoiler, rear lightweight fiberglass wing.
